READ ME

This file contains instructions on how to install the USB drivers
from the CD-ROM to your computer.  USB drivers are needed in order 
for your computer to recognize your eBook.  

Instructions on how to use the eBook Librarian desktop application 
are on the eBook Librarian User's Guide.  This eBook Edition is 
included in your eBook Librarian.  You can read the eBook Librarian 
User's Guide on your eBook if you wish.  Simply select the title, 
plug in your eBook and click on Send Title.  To read the eBook
Librarian User's Guide on your PC, simply click on the Help menu 
and click on Help Topics.



To install the USB drivers to your computer on a Windows PC:

1) Insert the CD-ROM in your CD-ROM drive.

2) Install the eBook Librarian application when prompted.  If the 
installation process does not launch automatically, either use Run
from your Windows Start menu to select the application from your
CD-ROM drive or go to My Computer and double-click on your CD-ROM
drive.

3) Plug one end of the USB cable to your computer, plug the other 
end to your eBook.

4) Turn your eBook on.

5) A window will appear telling you that your computer has found 
new hardware.

6) The Add New Hardware Wizard will appear next.

7) Click on Next.

8) In the Best Driver menu choice, select Default Search.

9) Click on Next.

10) The search will show you 'Found D: (CD-ROM Driver)'  You might
have to type in your CD-ROM drive if the search cannot find it.

11) Click on Next.

12) In the next window you will see 'D:ROCKET.INF'

13) Click on Next.

14) A Driver Database will be built.  A status will appear letting
you know when it will be finished.

15) When the 'Finish' window appears, click on Finish.

Your USB drivers are now installed.  When you launch the eBook 
Librarian and plug in your eBook, the application will recognize 
and list your eBook.  If eBook Librarian does not recognize your 
eBook, try unplugging and plugging your eBook again.
