===== Description =====

This card uses the [[http://www.intersil.com|Intersil]] ISL37300P chipset. It is a PRISM 2.5 implimentation and does not require an external firmware. It works out of the box with the orinoco_cs kernel module.

Note that [[http://www.intersil.com|Intersil]] [[http://www.intersil.com/pr/shell/0,1091,1063,00.html|sold]] it's Wireless Networking Product Group to GlobespanVirata, which has since been bought by [[http://www.conexant.com|Conexant]].
